- Proven ability to lead a team of 5+ in a production-driven environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional and global teams.
- Strong client engagement and stakeholder management experience.
- Metrics-driven mindset focused on continuous operational improvement.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of credentialing processes, provider data management, and healthcare compliance.
- Knowledge of NCQA guidelines and state/federal credentialing regulations (preferred).
- Skills in SQL or Excel Macros (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Manage a pod of Credentialing Specialists and Operations Analysts to ensure timely and accurate file processing.
- Monitor core operational metrics such as speed, quality, and efficiency daily and weekly to ensure SLA compliance.
- Identify process gaps, document SOPs, and lead internal team training.
- Conduct daily standups and weekly performance reviews to track throughput and provide coaching.
- Handle escalations, partner with cross-functional teams, and provide performance insights to management.
- Support onboarding, hiring, and retention initiatives within the pod.
- Oversee adherence to NCQA standards, state guidelines, and specific client requirements.
