7+ years of experience in category management, merchandising, or a related commercial role.
Experience within a fast-paced retail or consumer goods environment.
Proven ability to manage external partnerships and negotiate commercial agreements.
Exceptional ability to interpret large datasets and translate into actionable recommendations.
Advanced Excel proficiency (large datasets, financial analysis, performance reporting).
Experience with enterprise-grade business intelligence platforms.
Strong understanding of retail KPIs, margin mechanics, and inventory metrics.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Cannabis sector experience considered an asset.
Power BI experience considered an advantage.

Develop and execute portfolio strategies across assortment, distribution, pricing, promotions, and inventory.
Optimize shelf pricing using margin targets, competitive benchmarks, and consumer price sensitivity.
Monitor inventory health metrics and implement markdowns or promotional actions.
Maintain master data and oversee planograms for store execution.
Serve as primary relationship lead for 50+ suppliers, managing onboarding, negotiations, and performance reviews.
Build joint business plans with suppliers to align on growth targets and investment priorities.
Conduct category performance reporting and item-level analysis to drive SKU rationalization and innovation.
Collaborate with merchandising, planning, supply chain, marketing, and finance teams to ensure execution.
