Requirements
- 8+ years of FP&A or corporate finance experience.
- Experience in capital-intensive or operationally complex sectors such as mining, manufacturing, aerospace, or energy.
- Proven track record managing small, high-performing teams in dynamic, high-growth environments.
- Advanced Excel financial modeling skills.
- Direct experience working with ERP systems.
- Experience evaluating and deploying finance technology platforms.
- Strong cross-functional communication and ability to align finance with operational needs.
- High degree of independence and ability to work with limited supervision.
- Comfortable operating with urgency and precision.
- Ability to travel to exploration field operations and mine development sites (minimum one week per year).
- SQL or Python comfort is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Own cash forecasting including quarterly and annual spend predictions across exploration, R&D, and corporate functions.
- Develop analytical models to inform decision-making and identify cost improvement opportunities.
- Produce clear, actionable financial reporting for executive leadership.
- Build and maintain a single source of truth for financial data in partnership with accounting.
- Lead business justification processes to ensure efficient capital allocation.
- Partner with operational leaders to drive accountability and conduct variance analysis.
- Assess, select, and design FP&A systems and automation tools to support global operations.
- Develop a high-performing FP&A team and support IPO readiness efforts.
