Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical service or technical service management within a chemical, industrial, manufacturing, or comparable technical environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and detailed knowledge of technical applications.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, develop, and motivate technical service teams.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strategic and critical-thinking abilities with a solution-oriented approach.
- Demonstrated ability to manage expenses, budgets, and financial considerations.
- Experience identifying training needs and developing team capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Proven track record of achieving team objectives and delivering business results.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel.
Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop technical service representatives and service technicians.
- Provide technical service and application support at customer sites to resolve challenges and improve processes.
- Develop and implement regional service plans aligned with commercial objectives and market opportunities.
- Manage service-related expenses and financial activities within established budgets.
- Partner with sales managers and cross-functional teams to coordinate resources and support strategic accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, sales leaders, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor competitive activity, industry developments, and market trends.
- Travel regularly to customer locations to understand requirements and strengthen relationships.
