Requirements
- 3–6+ years of experience managing complex client projects or programmes, ideally within AI/ML, human data, data services, or another technical environment.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and the AI/ML development lifecycle, with familiarity in areas such as data collection, annotation, evaluation, or validation.
- Demonstrated client-facing experience, with the ability to build trusted relationships and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to turn complex or ambiguous requirements into structured plans, clear priorities, and successful project outcomes.
- Hands-on approach to project delivery and problem-solving, with the confidence to investigate issues in detail and drive solutions through to resolution.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgement, including experience managing project KPIs, budgets, profitability, quality, and delivery performance.
- Ability to lead across multiple teams, align stakeholders, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities and requirements can change quickly.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end delivery of complex AI projects, from understanding client objectives and defining the delivery approach through execution and completion.
- Act as the primary client contact throughout engagements, building trusted relationships and maintaining clear, consistent communication.
- Translate complex or evolving client requirements into practical project scopes, delivery plans, success criteria, and solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Product, and Engineering to coordinate resources, resolve challenges, and align delivery with client and business objectives.
- Stay actively involved in project execution, identifying risks and issues early and driving practical solutions to maintain delivery momentum.
- Track key delivery metrics, including quality, timelines, budgets, profitability, and overall project performance, using data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and improve scalable processes, tools, and ways of working that strengthen the delivery of AI projects as the organization and client portfolio expand.
