Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
- 4-6 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Consulting, or other highly analytical finance roles.
- Advanced financial modeling and forecasting experience with demonstrated ability to build scalable models for business planning and scenario analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable business insights.
- Experience owning budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting processes.
- Proven ability to influence business decisions through data-driven recommendations and strong cross-functional partnerships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present financial insights to senior business stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Experience working with financial reporting systems and business intelligence tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary finance partner for assigned growth verticals, partnering directly with business leaders to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and business performance.
- Own the financial forecast for assigned business areas, including revenue and operating expense projections, while continuously improving forecast accuracy.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support scenario planning, pricing analyses, investment decisions, and evaluation of new business initiatives.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, including variance analyses, executive summaries, and recommendations that clearly communicate key business drivers.
- Monitor and analyze key business and financial performance indicators, proactively identifying emerging risks and opportunities before they materially impact results.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Operations, and other business teams to evaluate financial implications of strategic initiatives and support data-driven decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, resource allocation, and business performance through financial analysis and process improvements.
