Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills for complex financial modeling and analysis.
- Experience at a high-growth tech company.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior management.
- Proactive, highly organized self-starter with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud cost and general SaaS cost management is an asset.
- Proficiency with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Glean, Cursor, etc.), Databricks, and FP&A tools like Workday Adaptive Planning or NetSuite is a plus.
- Prior partnership with software engineering teams is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Software and Firmware Engineering teams to manage Cloud, Cellular, and AI vendor spend.
- Analyze financial results and prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting.
- Support financial review meetings with R&D and Finance leadership.
- Partner with Accounting on month-end close activities, cost classification, and reporting requests.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to drive AOP planning.
- Improve the accuracy and scalability of existing financial reporting and forecasting models.
- Develop new mechanisms, analysis, or KPIs to inspect business performance.
- Leverage AI tools to streamline financial reporting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis workflows.
