Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, M&A advisory, or corporate finance.
- Experience in strategic finance or FP&A within a high-growth startup is a strong advantage.
- Investment banking or transaction advisory experience is strongly preferred.
- Expert-level Excel skills with the ability to build sophisticated models from scratch.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and reporting.
- Exceptional critical thinking, quantitative analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to distill complex financial data into insights for senior leaders and investors.
- Strong prioritization skills in a fast-paced, lean environment.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve financial models for investor reporting, board presentations, budgeting, and cash forecasting.
- Manage the organization-wide budgeting process and monitor performance against targets.
- Lead cash forecasting and runway modeling to ensure liquidity visibility.
- Support debt facility structuring, covenant compliance, and lender communications.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, capital allocation, and fundraising materials.
- Conduct ad-hoc business analysis for new products, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
- Partner with Accounting on month-end close, accruals, and cost allocation.
- Identify opportunities to automate and scale financial processes using tools like Drivetrain.
