Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on TypeScript experience.
- Practical knowledge of Node.js and React.
- Experience with GraphQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
- Ability to contribute to software architecture and make pragmatic technical trade-offs.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or LLM agents.
- Proven autonomy and ownership in identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Strong communication and diplomacy skills to influence technical decisions without formal authority.
- Experience working in a fully remote, async-first environment.
- Experience with external stakeholders or distributed engineering teams is a plus.
- Open-source contribution or maintenance experience is highly valued.
- Background in cybersecurity or Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) is a significant advantage.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical relationship with a key external engineering partner as the primary technical relay.
- Participate in technical refinement, architecture, and design discussions for partner-driven features.
- Guide partner engineers on platform architecture, coding standards, and maintainability principles.
- Review and elevate external code contributions for consistency, reliability, and quality.
- Contribute hands-on to critical areas of the codebase where external and internal work intersect.
- Facilitate design reviews, pair programming, and code reviews across teams.
- Promote strong engineering practices to improve quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Product Owners on roadmap planning and milestone alignment.
- Identify technical risks, blockers, and dependencies, providing clear reporting to leadership.
