Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management with ownership of complex, data-heavy domains.
- Direct industry experience in cross-border commerce, logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain.
- Proven ability to think in systems and map messy, end-to-end data flows.
- Experience making and living with the consequences of build-versus-buy decisions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality strategy, decision documentation, and specs.
- Strategic understanding of compliance concepts like product classification, declared values, and duties.
- Ability to maintain a position under pressure and adapt based on evidence.
- Experience working closely with operations, engineering, and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end compliance flow from merchant catalog origin to final shipment clearance.
- Define and drive the product strategy, including making and defending build-versus-buy decisions.
- Treat data quality as a product outcome by implementing metrics and systems to track classification and accuracy.
- Build automated mechanisms to prevent non-compliant shipments, including validation, gating, and escalation flows.
- Develop merchant-facing compliance features to increase transparency and enable self-service.
- Manage partner strategy and integrations from the product side.
