Requirements
- Proven experience as a product manager owning complex third-party integrations (API and file/EDI-based).
- Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code required; must be able to build, debug, and ship functional prototypes.
- Provider-agnostic mindset, anticipating customer needs across various brokers, carriers, and HRIS.
- Strong technical fluency to read data-mapping specs, reason about sync logic, and discuss idempotency and settlement thresholds.
- Ability to design for systems as well as humans, thinking in APIs and agent-facing tooling.
- Judgment to make strategic and tactical decisions under deadline pressure.
- Excellent async written communication skills to drive cross-functional alignment.
- Experience in benefits, HR technology, payroll, insurance technology, or fintech is a bonus.
- Experience negotiating or managing commercial partnerships is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Own the Benefits infrastructure strategy, including near-term integrations and long-term unification.
- Drive the roadmap for connecting to carriers, third-party administrators, and HR systems.
- Lead complex, cross-functional delivery for benefit-cost migration and retirement plan administration.
- Build a seamless, consistent benefits experience across Employer of Record, global payroll, and PEO.
- Ensure data integrity by managing partner integrations and implementing systemic tooling for reconciliation.
- Manage the full lifecycle of benefits partners, including sourcing, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
- Drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Payroll Operations, Finance, and Legal teams.
