Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a communications agency or relevant health/science sector.
- Proven track record managing large-scope or large-budget media programs.
- 2+ years of experience managing direct reports.
- Demonstrated ability to win new business and grow existing accounts.
- Mastery of media relations, including established contacts with top-tier reporters.
- Expertise in media training for C-suite spokespeople.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex client engagements and priorities.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of media strategy for multiple client accounts.
- Serve as strategic counsel lead for media activities and crisis management.
- Manage and mentor junior staff members, guiding their professional growth and performance.
- Partner with account teams to deliver integrated programming and staffing plans.
- Lead new business proposal development and participate in pitches as a media representative.
- Facilitate client workshops, including speaker training and internal messaging sessions.
