Requirements

  • 8+ years of HR experience supporting commercial, sales, or performance-driven organizations.
  • Deep practical knowledge of variable compensation, including commission plan mechanics and disputes.
  • Strong expertise in employee relations and performance management.
  • Experience partnering on organizational restructures and design initiatives.
  • Broad HR generalist experience spanning compliance, operations, and business partnership.
  • Ability to partner with C-suite and senior executives (e.g., CRO, VP of Sales).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to challenge senior leaders constructively.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset for workforce strategy.
  • Experience building processes in a scaling organization with limited legacy structure.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state employment law in the US.
  • Experience in healthcare, digital health, or health technology (preferred).
  • Experience supporting high-volume hourly or contact center workforces (preferred).
  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary People Partner to leaders across Commercial, Marketing, Operations, and Patient Support.
  • Partner with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, spans of control, and staffing models for quota-carrying and hourly teams.
  • Lead organizational restructures, role eliminations, and complex organizational changes.
  • Coach managers on performance management, including metrics like quota attainment, productivity, and ticket volume.
  • Improve performance review and calibration processes and develop effective performance improvement plan (PIP) practices.
  • Advise leaders and employees on variable compensation plans, mechanics, and disputes.
  • Build and own employee relations workflows from intake through resolution.
  • Analyze workforce data to provide actionable insights on turnover, engagement, and headcount trends.
  • Develop scalable documentation and operational infrastructure for the People function.
