Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in technology roles, with demonstrated experience delivering complex technology programs.
- At least 5 years of Project Management experience and 2+ years of Program Management experience.
- Strong technical understanding of Java and Spring Boot, with the ability to engage effectively in engineering discussions.
- Solid understanding of Microservices architecture and distributed systems, including how data moves across services and integration layers.
- Practical understanding of Kafka and event-streaming architectures.
- Strong familiarity with AWS cloud environments and the technical dependencies involved in cloud-based systems.
- Proven experience in program planning, execution management, risk management, dependency management, and release management.
- Experience with effort estimation, resource alignment, capacity planning, milestone tracking, and delivery governance.
- Proven ability to manage integration-heavy technology programs involving multiple teams and interconnected platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex engineering programs, from initial planning and roadmap definition through deployment and post-release activities.
- Define program roadmaps, support quarterly planning, align capacity and resources, and establish effective governance mechanisms.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning engineering, QA, DevOps, architecture, product, and business functions to maintain alignment and delivery momentum.
- Develop a strong understanding of data flows across microservices, backend systems, integration layers, and distributed technology environments.
- Identify technical dependencies, architectural constraints, delivery risks, and integration challenges, developing clear mitigation and contingency plans.
- Own the complete release management lifecycle, including release readiness, documentation, deployment planning, coordination, and post-release hypercare.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, demos, and other program-level coordination sessions.
