Requirements
- 5-7+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in logistics, warehousing, 3PL, renewable energy, or solar supply chains.
- Proven success selling complex service-based solutions to enterprise customers with evidence of personally won deals.
- Demonstrated hunter mentality with the ability to independently generate and close net-new business.
- Strong consultative, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales experience from prospecting through contract execution.
- Understanding of solar or comparable capital-equipment logistics, including storage and transportation.
- Strong business acumen across financial metrics, deal economics, and lead/lag indicators.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment with no local supervision.
- Strong written and verbal business communication in English.
- Ability to travel nationally approximately 20 to 30%.
- Proficiency in managing CRM, pipeline, forecast, and proposal management (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting utility-scale solar developers, EPCs, manufacturers, and asset owners.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through prospecting, referrals, and strategic outreach.
- Lead consultative sales conversations to understand customers’ logistics, inventory, and transportation needs.
- Develop tailored commercial proposals and solutions for complex, multi-stakeholder solar projects.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from initial engagement through proposal development, negotiation, and contract close.
- Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and act as a knowledgeable commercial partner.
- Collaborate with operations, supply-chain, and leadership teams to ensure proposed solutions are operationally deliverable.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and forecasting information using CRM tools.
- Represent the company at relevant conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
