Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or 8 years of equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of related professional experience.
- Experience with Property Condition Assessment, Equity, and Debt report preparation.
- Familiarity with ASTM E2018 guidelines and ADA accessibility requirements.
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and HVAC equipment.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and project management software.
- Ability to operate electronic tablets for live field data collection.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel by plane, train, or car for client/project sites across the U.S.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of onsite property inspections.
- Registered Architect or Professional Engineer license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead technical point of contact for various government and commercial contracts.
- Manage assigned field staff and direct project activities on a project-by-project basis.
- Perform quality control reviews and technical editing of reports generated by field staff.
- Ensure regulatory compliance regarding HUD, ASTM, and other industry standards.
- Communicate with clients to resolve concerns and develop proactive solutions.
- Prepare reports for on-time delivery and authorize final transmittal to clients.
- Perform personnel management, including training, mentoring, and technical guidance.
- Conduct onsite property assessments as a Project Assessor when required.
