Requirements

  • Law degree and qualification in at least one jurisdiction within the region.
  • 6-8 years of experience across law firm and in-house roles.
  • Strong commercial contracts and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with European payments regulation and GDPR.
  • Business enablement mindset: a practical approach to risk and the ability to deliver clear, actionable advice.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary legal counterpart for the EMEA commercial, partnerships, and operations teams, providing pragmatic, business-oriented advice.
  • Negotiate and draft merchant, partner, and vendor agreements across the region, applying and helping improve our global contracting playbooks.
  • Advise the business on payments regulation and data protection across the region in coordination with the global Legal and Compliance team.
  • Support the corporate maintenance of Yuno’s entities in the region, working with the global team, outside counsel, and corporate service providers.
  • Provide legal guidance on new markets, new products, and strategic partnerships as Yuno continues to grow across the region.
