Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in knowledge management, content strategy, information architecture, or HR/People Operations enablement.
- Experience owning strategy rather than focusing solely on execution.
- Experience building or managing content governance within a federated organization.
- Experience building a team, leading an existing team, or establishing a new organizational function from the ground up.
- Product-oriented and metrics-driven approach to content strategy using search analytics, deflection, and CSAT.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and creating structure where processes and organizational responsibilities have not been established.
- Experience making knowledge content AI-ready or adapting information for evolving search, retrieval, and digital knowledge tools.
- Experience designing AI-assisted content workflows.
- Ability to negotiate and drive standards adoption across autonomous business units without direct reporting relationships.
- Experience with Knowledge-Centered Service (KCS) or comparable governance frameworks is preferred.
- Familiarity with HR Shared Services or Tier 1/2 support environments is a plus.
- Experience with internal SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), or optimizing content for AI-driven search is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and own the Talent content governance strategy and operating rhythms, including content standards, lifecycle management, recurring reviews, and processes.
- Own the taxonomy, information architecture, metadata, and indexing strategy for the Talent knowledge estate.
- Develop and maintain an AI-readiness strategy for Talent knowledge by establishing standards for metadata, tagging, chunking, and Q&A structures.
- Partner with content stewards and subject-matter experts to transform complex information into clear, searchable knowledge.
- Design AI-assisted knowledge workflows that identify content gaps, support first-draft generation, and route material for review.
- Establish a product-minded, metrics-driven approach to knowledge management by monitoring search failure rates, deflection, and CSAT.
- Create feedback loops with employees and stakeholders to determine content lifecycle actions.
- Lead a cross-business alignment forum to unify governance practices and standards across autonomous business units.
- Build and scale the team supporting the knowledge governance function.
- Serve as a key stakeholder in the technology partner team's knowledge-platform roadmap.
