Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.
- 4+ years of biosimilar and/or pharmaceutical experience.
- Documented history of success in pharmaceutical contracting and negotiations.
- Understanding of contract operations and government price reporting.
- Strong knowledge of PBM, National Health Plan business, Specialty Pharmacy, and market landscapes.
- Experience with State Medicaid bid cycles and RFPs.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex customers and build relationships with executive management.
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Execute brand strategies via targeted pull-through and/or direct contracting with specified Regional Accounts.
- Develop and implement strategic and tactical business plans to create access for Sandoz products in Pharmacy and Medical benefit segments.
- Manage State Medicaid Agencies and FFS Medicaid RFPs nationally, working alongside the State Medicaid National Account Director.
- Collaborate with National Account teams to drive brand strategy with downstream affiliates.
- Conduct periodic business reviews with accounts to optimize contractual performance and access.
- Serve as the internal brand lead to the payer team for biosimilar products, providing key updates, supportive materials, and product messaging.
- Ensure launch readiness by developing value propositions, modeling, and marketing materials for payer teams.
- Partner with internal I&A, brand, and field teams to maintain accurate data on payer coverage for forecasting and tracking.
