Our platform provides the essential tools to build and grow successful travel businesses. You will join a company recognized as one of the top 50 largest sellers of travel in the United States. We have achieved 27% year-over-year growth, showing strong market traction. We are actively shaping how travel is planned and booked for a new generation.
How We Work
You will thrive in a startup atmosphere, benefiting from the resources of an established and profitable company. We embrace rapid program iteration and a lean, outcome-driven approach. Decisions often happen in days, not quarters. Every team member is critical in our decision-making process. You will work on a small team with real ownership, reporting directly to the CEO. Our remote-friendly environment supports asynchronous collaboration. We prioritize heavy instrumentation and frequent feedback from real travel advisors. This ensures that what you build truly impacts our users.
Engineering at WorldVia
You will craft the core booking and integration capabilities for AIVIA, our cutting-edge AI travel advisor operating system. Your work will directly translate AI-generated itineraries into real, ticketed bookings. This involves integrating with complex GDS (Global Distribution System) APIs like Sabre, Travelport+/Galileo, or Amadeus. You will build robust data models for itineraries, segments, and pricing. These models underpin the entire platform and our AI tools. You will also develop the booking flows that our AI agents use to construct trips. You will ensure the engine is trustworthy at scale, implementing instrumentation, retries, and sophisticated failure handling. We are an AI-augmented engineering organization. You will leverage AI coding tools, contributing to an opinionated approach on their effective use. Our tech stack includes React or Next.js on the frontend, Postgres for data storage, and strong data modeling principles. You will also ensure solid auth, security, and PII handling. You will implement practical testing and CI/CD discipline.
