Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or 4+ years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years of progressive HR experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Generalist, or People Operations role.
- Working knowledge of HR principles, employment law fundamentals, and compliance best practices.
- Experience managing HR policies, employee relations, and performance management processes.
- Experience with HRIS platforms.
- Strong judgment, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to independently manage HR processes and competing priorities with limited oversight.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies and day-to-day matters.
- Partner with the Director of HR to maintain continuity of operations and employee support.
- Manage HR processes from start to finish including coordination, risk identification, and process improvement.
- Administer employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding, and documentation.
- Support performance management processes such as check-ins, reviews, goal setting, and compensation changes.
- Coordinate Learning and Development initiatives and manage the Learning Management System.
- Maintain accurate HRIS data and personnel files, conducting regular audits for compliance.
- Support engagement and culture initiatives, including planning the annual company retreat.
- Draft HR communications, policies, procedures, and manager resources.
- Assist with HR reporting and analytics for metrics like headcount and turnover.
