Requirements
- Prior experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Accountant with full ownership of the General Ledger.
- Advanced, hands-on QuickBooks expertise (QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop).
- Proven experience configuring QuickBooks and/or leading implementations.
- Strong experience managing reconciliations and month-end close processes.
- Experience preparing financial statements and P&L reports.
- Experience overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- C1/C2 English proficiency, written and spoken.
- Ability to maintain required overlap with U.S. business hours.
Responsibilities
- Configure and optimize QuickBooks to support accounting structure and reporting requirements.
- Lead the transition of the General Ledger from an outside accounting firm to an in-house function.
- Maintain, reconcile, and close books monthly.
- Prepare financial statements, including P&L reports, and monitor cash position.
- Supervise Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable specialists.
- Coordinate payroll tax, sales tax, and 1099-related matters.
- Ensure accounting policies established by the CFO are executed accurately.
