Requirements
- Must be a student at CUNY.
- Must be eligible for the Federal Work-study program.
- Age 18 or over with a high school diploma, GED, or above.
- Clear Background Screening and all other security requirements.
- Demonstrated time management and self-starter abilities.
- Access to personal and reliable high-speed internet.
- Access to own computer technology with audio and visual capability.
- Access to a quiet workspace.
- Ability to maintain an on-camera presence during tutoring sessions.
Responsibilities
- Provide math tutoring to assigned caseload for multiple class periods using Saga Connect or district platforms.
- Prepare for tutoring sessions using Saga Curriculum or district resources.
- Navigate varying hardware and software technology.
- Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
- Respond to emails to meet deliverables on time.
- Act as an advocate and mentor for students.
