Job Details

Strong frontend foundations in React, TypeScript, and modern web development.
Experience writing backend logic, building API routes, and connecting third-party integrations.
Hands-on experience with SEO, analytics, A/B testing, and conversion optimization.
Ability to measure impact and a motivation to drive growth metrics.
Experience working in a remote, asynchronous environment.
Ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
Practical experience building AI-powered features and daily usage of AI tools to multiply output.
Strong interest in content creation, social media, and digital publishing.
Experience maintaining production-grade web infrastructure.

Own growth engineering projects end-to-end, from implementing a localization framework to building referral program logic and attribution systems.
Build features on Buffer's marketing site, including landing pages, interactive tools, and conversion flows to drive user acquisition.
Develop marketing infrastructure, such as A/B testing frameworks, programmatic page generation for SEO/AEO, and reusable components.
Drive experimentation and optimization by setting up experiments, validating results, and iterating based on data.
Maintain the marketing technology stack, including Segment, GTM, Mixpanel, and BigQuery, while optimizing performance and accessibility.
Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to the overall health and stability of buffer.com.
Mentor team members through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing regarding growth and marketing engineering patterns.
