Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in senior client-facing SaaS, technology, or account management roles focused on renewals, retention, and account growth.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, long-cycle strategic accounts and build strong relationships with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering consultative, value-driven solutions across multiple business functions and aligning technology solutions with customer objectives.
  • Strong commercial skills, including experience with account expansion, upselling, renewal forecasting, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience interpreting performance and ROI data and developing actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging executive audiences.
  • Customer-focused and detail-oriented, with strong technical and administrative capabilities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities independently while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% as required.

Responsibilities

  • Own the long-term success, retention, renewal, and growth strategy for a portfolio of strategic client accounts.
  • Build trusted relationships with executive and cross-functional stakeholders through regular engagement, business reviews, and strategic advisory conversations.
  • Develop and execute account plans, expansion strategies, and adoption initiatives aligned with customer business objectives and return-on-investment goals.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, develop proposals, forecast renewals and upsells, and lead contract negotiations to achieve retention and revenue targets.
  • Monitor account health and performance, analyze ROI and customer metrics, proactively identify risks, and recommend solutions that support successful outcomes.
  • Translate customer needs into effective platform, content, and operational strategies while advising clients on product capabilities, integrations, and best practices.
  • Serve as a senior resource for the broader account management team by mentoring colleagues, supporting escalations, and contributing to team playbooks and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and provide customer insights that support organizational decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support broader team objectives, including participation in hiring activities when required.
