Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in account management, preferably in a digital marketing agency.
- Minimum of 2 years managing direct reports.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing principles including PPC, social media, SEO, email, and content marketing.
- Proven experience managing key client relationships and developing account growth strategies.
- Strong ability to analyze data and develop insights for campaign optimization.
- Expertise in distilling complex insights into clear, logical conclusions and strategic plans.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to execute high-quality work against tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and coach 3-5 account managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development.
- Conduct individual weekly check-ins, performance reviews, and lead team meetings.
- Oversee team projects to improve department operational efficiency and monitor team performance.
- Directly own a portfolio of 5-6 accounts, serving as a strategic partner and trusted advisor.
- Manage the strategy and execution of cross-channel marketing campaigns including search, social, display, email, content, and design.
- Drive revenue growth from existing clients through upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
- Review client deliverables for quality and strategic alignment, including QBR presentations.
- Implement tools and processes to enhance account management performance and team training.
