Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • At least 12 years of product or program management experience.
  • Minimum 5 years developing genomic or diagnostic offerings for biopharmaceutical or population health buyers.
  • At least 5 years of experience developing and commercializing data, software, informatics, or diagnostic products.
  • Demonstrated commercial success taking programs from definition through launch and revenue generation.
  • Proven experience establishing contracts, partnerships, or commercial relationships with pharmaceutical sponsors or health systems.
  • Working knowledge of clinical genomic testing, reporting practices, and the regulatory environment.
  • Strong commercial judgment for market sizing and strategy.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Advanced degree in genetics, genomics, public health, or related field preferred.
  • Board-certified genetic counselor experience is favorably considered.
  • Experience in rare disease, newborn screening, or companion diagnostics preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product strategy, priorities, and roadmap for biopharma and population genomics offerings.
  • Develop and commercialize offerings for biopharmaceutical sponsors, including sponsored testing and patient identification for trials.
  • Build population screening programs for health systems, academic medical centers, and state programs.
  • Own product definition end-to-end, including clinical positioning, pricing, delivery workflows, and customer experience.
  • Lead market and customer discovery, translating insights into clear product requirements.
  • Partner with Business Development, Medical Affairs, and Laboratory Operations on commercial and operational execution.
  • Collaborate with Genomic Technology, Legal, and Compliance to ensure technical and regulatory deliverability.
  • Guide mature offerings into the core product portfolio for clinician ordering.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, health systems, and public health organizations.
