Requirements
- University degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting designation such as CPA, CA, CMA, or CGA.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Strong capabilities in financial reporting and financial modelling.
- Knowledge of GAAP and MIS Guidelines.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities and time-sensitive deliverables.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Healthcare reporting knowledge (OHRS, SRI, CAPS, ARR) is a strong asset.
- Experience with TM1, Business Intelligence, ADS, and Meditech software is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Deliver complex financial, statistical, analytical, and consultative support to leadership teams.
- Serve as a key Finance contact for supported programs and departments.
- Educate and advise stakeholders on financial resource management and organizational policies.
- Lead annual Operating Plan, Long Range Plan, and periodic forecast cycles.
- Prepare and support internal and external financial and statistical reporting.
- Manage provincial reporting, funding analysis, and patient costing data.
- Design and implement financial models and process improvements.
- Perform month-end and year-end analysis, including variance reporting and journal entries.
- Support audit activities and year-end working papers.
- Participate in strategic ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives.
