Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline, or an MBA with a relevant specialization.
- 0–2 years of internship, academic-project, or professional experience in finance, accounting, or business analytics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, and financial modeling).
- Familiarity with financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work the 2:00 PM–11:00 PM IST shift.
- Experience with ERP, business intelligence, or reporting tools is desirable.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP experience is a plus).
Responsibilities
- Assist with annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Prepare recurring financial reports, dashboards, and analyses covering revenue, expenses, and operating metrics.
- Support monthly financial close activities and variance analysis.
- Perform financial modeling, return-on-investment calculations, and scenario planning.
- Maintain high-accuracy dashboards, financial models, and reporting templates.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Sales, and business leadership teams to validate information.
- Identify opportunities for reporting process improvement and automation via Excel-based tools.
