Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent relevant preparation.
- 5+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical account management within cybersecurity.
- Deep knowledge of MDR, EDR/XDR/MXDR, NDR/IDS, and DNS-layer security.
- Direct experience using CrowdStrike Falcon and/or Sophos platforms.
- Strong network engineering fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, network sensor/IDS deployment).
- Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP and secure cloud image concepts.
- Understanding of U.S. SLTT government environments, procurement processes, and public-sector sales cycles.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring, training, or technically leading other engineers.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical SME across managed detection and response, network monitoring, and cloud security offerings.
- Lead technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and post-sales issue resolution.
- Own the technical onboarding experience for assigned accounts to accelerate time to value.
- Partner with Services Account Executives throughout the U.S. government sales cycle and procurement processes.
- Provide mentorship, training, and technical leadership to other solutions engineers.
- Synthesize customer and field feedback into actionable insights for Product Management and engineering teams.
