Job Details

At least 12 years of progressively responsible experience in data, digital health, health information systems, analytics, or applied AI.
Experience working in global public health with Ministries of Health or national public health institutes.
Demonstrated expertise in data architecture, interoperability standards, data governance, and data quality.
Experience translating complex public health problems into practical digital or AI approaches.
Ability to operate at the intersection of strategy and implementation with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong working knowledge of responsible AI principles including privacy, equity, and transparency.
Ability to structure ambiguous problems and communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Master's degree in public health, health informatics, data science, epidemiology, computer science, or a related field.
Ability to travel internationally as needed.

Advise program and country teams on data architecture, interoperability, data quality, governance, and effective data use.
Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities for AI and advanced analytics to improve public health decision-making.
Guide the assessment of AI use cases, focusing on feasibility, public health value, equity, safety, and sustainability.
Develop frameworks, tools, and guidance to help teams assess data and AI opportunities consistently.
Build organizational capability through training, coaching, and facilitating communities of practice.
Represent the organization in technical forums with governments, funders, and academic institutions.
Collaborate with Legal and IT on governance, compliance, procurement, and risk management for data and AI initiatives.
