Requirements
- 7+ years of development experience.
- 4+ years of experience developing scalable web applications using Golang.
- Experience building Kubernetes controllers or operators at scale in AWS, GCP, Azure, or On-prem.
- Deep knowledge of systems design, API design, and infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience leading the architecture and technical direction of complex, distributed systems.
- Experience with relational databases (Postgres/MySQL).
- Proven ability to influence technical decisions across teams.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Live within US time zones (Pacific through Eastern), including Canada.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and improve Akuity’s SaaS platform.
- Develop in Go on the server-side.
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to design, implement, and deliver features that remove the headaches of infrastructure operations.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across complex, high-impact projects.
- Mentor engineers and help drive engineering best practices across the organization.
- Ensure the SaaS platform remains scalable and developer-focused as it grows.
