Requirements
- Strong, hands-on experience in Test Management or QA Management.
- Broad knowledge of different testing strategies, levels, and methodologies.
- Familiarity with the TMMi (Test Maturity Model Integration) framework.
- Experience creating or improving test strategies, testing processes, and test governance frameworks.
- Ability to assess quality from an organizational and delivery perspective.
- Experience coordinating complex testing initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Comfortable working as a senior consultant, assessing current state, and gaining stakeholder buy-in.
- Strong communication and workshop facilitation skills.
- Practical knowledge of ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level – Test Management topics is a strong advantage.
- Experience within banking, financial services, or another large regulated organization is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assess the client's current testing approach, processes, and practices.
- Identify gaps, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Define and recommend a target testing strategy and operating model.
- Select appropriate testing levels, types, and approaches depending on the organizational context.
- Coordinate testing activities and take ownership of test delivery.
- Improve test planning, monitoring, reporting, and governance.
- Recommend best practices related to risk-based testing, defect management, quality assurance, and test governance.
- Work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and delivery management.
- Translate findings and recommendations into clear, actionable improvements.
- Prepare and facilitate workshops for client teams to ensure the proposed approach can be effectively adopted across the organization.
