Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Electrical Distribution channel.
- Advanced computer skills (Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI).
- Proven analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated team leadership, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to travel at least 60% within, and occasionally outside, the assigned territory.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related major preferred.
- Experience working for an electrical manufacturer or distributor preferred.
- Established relationships with distributors and contractors in the territory preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage electrical distribution accounts for performance and profitability.
- Anticipate customer needs and proactively address them.
- Identify growth opportunities through product placement and promotions.
- Maintain pricing changes related to product categories.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts to review sales trends and opportunities.
- Prepare monthly customer reports including fill rates and shipment tracking.
- Process and issue quotations based on company results.
- Manage Manufacturer’s Representatives including budgeting, strategy, and performance monitoring.
- Plan and participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Coordinate with Technical Sales and Innovation teams for contractor-facing strategies.
