Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4–7+ years of relevant professional experience in HR M&A, integration management, or human capital consulting.
  • Demonstrated success independently leading complex, cross-functional initiatives under time-sensitive constraints.
  • Strong program and project management skills, including milestone tracking and risk mitigation.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing executive-level presentations and materials.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to managing ambiguity.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential transaction information.
  • Knowledge of HR integration areas such as talent, payroll, compensation, benefits, and organizational design.
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies and compliance considerations in an M&A context.
  • Experience leveraging data analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor throughout the M&A lifecycle, connecting people-related integration decisions to transaction objectives.
  • Lead and coordinate HR functional due diligence activities, identifying risks, opportunities, and integration considerations.
  • Develop integrated workplans, milestone trackers, risk registers, and governance materials for complex initiatives.
  • Drive alignment across HR, Finance, IT, Legal, Operations, and Payroll to ensure critical activities remain on track.
  • Design and implement change management, communication, and onboarding strategies to support employees during transitions.
  • Build and scale People M&A capabilities through repeatable standards, playbooks, and governance frameworks.
  • Prepare executive summaries, dashboards, and recommendations to communicate progress and dependencies to senior leadership.
