Requirements
- Valid life insurance licence in a Canadian province where the opportunity operates, excluding Prince Edward Island and Quebec.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and explain insurance concepts clearly to clients.
- Confident and comfortable conducting sales consultations and client conversations primarily by telephone.
- Customer-focused mindset with a consultative approach to identifying needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Strong organizational, follow-up, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple prospects and opportunities.
- Comfortable using CRM systems, digital sales tools, online quoting platforms, and technology-driven workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate client records and meeting compliance requirements.
- Previous sales experience is considered an asset, particularly within insurance, financial services, or another consultative sales environment.
- Ability to maintain professional standards, comply with licensing and regulatory obligations, and take ownership of your business activities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct telephone consultations with prospective life insurance clients to understand their financial protection needs, circumstances, and objectives.
- Assess client requirements and recommend appropriate life insurance solutions based on their individual needs and eligibility.
- Present available products, provide quotes, explain coverage options, and guide clients through the insurance application process.
- Follow up consistently with prospects, manage sales opportunities, and maintain accurate activity and client information within the CRM.
- Build trusted client relationships through a consultative, service-oriented approach and provide responsive support throughout the sales process.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding applications, questions, and client requests.
- Maintain current knowledge of insurance products, sales processes, licensing obligations, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Use digital quoting platforms, online application systems, CRM technology, and other tools to manage prospects and applications efficiently.
- Participate in ongoing coaching, product training, and professional development activities to strengthen sales performance and product knowledge.
- Manage your own schedule, pipeline, and daily activities effectively while meeting client needs and individual performance expectations.
