Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in consulting services, software development, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong programming experience with C#/.NET and Java.
- Professional experience with GIS platforms such as Esri ArcGIS or GE Smallworld.
- Experience working with databases, particularly Oracle and SQL.
- Experience in the utilities industry, including familiarity with GIS or engineering design data models.
- Experience with data translation, ETL processes, and enterprise system integrations.
- Demonstrated consulting experience delivering client-facing software implementations.
- Ability to facilitate meetings, gather requirements, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of solution architecture and software implementation practices.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30%.
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to software implementation and GIS integration projects based on AutoCAD, GIS, ERP, and EAM technologies.
- Serve as a technical and consulting representative throughout client projects to ensure alignment with requirements and architecture.
- Manage client-facing meetings, workshops, and discussions to communicate technical concepts and project progress.
- Gather, document, and review client requirements while identifying opportunities for technical solutions.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple medium-to-large projects to maintain schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Support GIS data translations, ETL processes, web services, APIs, and enterprise application integrations.
- Apply expertise in utility GIS and engineering design data models to support electric distribution, transmission, and substation projects.
