Requirements

  • At least 4 years of technical project management experience supporting business or technology initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Healthcare, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools used for scheduling, work tracking, collaboration, reporting, and project coordination.
  • Strong understanding of core project management concepts, including scope, schedule, budget, dependencies, risk management, and change control.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to learn new software and project-specific applications quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions within a complex, highly matrixed organization.
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with standard business applications and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedules, milestones, deliverables, resource requirements, dependencies, and key activities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through project execution, coordinating activities and ensuring objectives, deliverables, and expected outcomes are achieved.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, proactively identifying risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities while developing and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Track project KPIs and provide clear, timely updates on status, risks, issues, milestones, and outcomes to stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, and change-control processes to ensure continued alignment with approved objectives and priorities.
  • Facilitate project governance activities, including status reviews, stakeholder meetings, retrospectives, and other forums that promote accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and complete project documentation in accordance with established PMO standards, methodologies, and practices.
  • Build strong relationships with business, technology, and other stakeholders, using effective communication and influence to support decision-making and resolve complex project issues.
  • Support budget tracking, forecasting, and financial monitoring activities for assigned projects as applicable.
  • Provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to new and existing PMO project managers, helping strengthen project management practices and capabilities across the organization.
