Requirements
- 4–6 years of project management experience within a medical communications agency or a related healthcare or pharmaceutical environment.
- Strong hands-on experience managing publications programmes, advisory boards, and a range of medical communications deliverables.
- Demonstrated expertise in project budgeting, resource planning, financial tracking, and overall programme coordination.
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance requirements and MLR review processes.
- Familiarity with publication workflows, author engagement, journal submission requirements, and Good Publication Practice (GPP) guidelines.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to identify risks, resolve challenges, and manage changing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple client accounts and project workstreams simultaneously, ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, status reports, hot sheets, Statements of Work (SOWs), and financial tracking documentation.
- Lead publications project management activities across manuscripts, abstracts, and posters, coordinating author review cycles and adherence to GPP guidelines.
- Coordinate advisory board programmes from initial planning through meeting execution and reporting.
- Oversee the development and delivery of medical communications materials, including presentation decks and training resources.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and cross-functional teams across a portfolio of programmes.
- Coordinate and facilitate MLR review processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Identify and communicate project risks, scope changes, and delivery challenges to keep programmes on track.
