Requirements

  • 4–6 years of project management experience within a medical communications agency or a related healthcare or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing publications programmes, advisory boards, and a range of medical communications deliverables.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project budgeting, resource planning, financial tracking, and overall programme coordination.
  • Working knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance requirements and MLR review processes.
  • Familiarity with publication workflows, author engagement, journal submission requirements, and Good Publication Practice (GPP) guidelines.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to identify risks, resolve challenges, and manage changing requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple client accounts and project workstreams simultaneously, ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, status reports, hot sheets, Statements of Work (SOWs), and financial tracking documentation.
  • Lead publications project management activities across manuscripts, abstracts, and posters, coordinating author review cycles and adherence to GPP guidelines.
  • Coordinate advisory board programmes from initial planning through meeting execution and reporting.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of medical communications materials, including presentation decks and training resources.
  • Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and cross-functional teams across a portfolio of programmes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate MLR review processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Identify and communicate project risks, scope changes, and delivery challenges to keep programmes on track.
