Requirements
- Approximately 5 years of experience supporting administrative and programmatic activities for distributed teams.
- Demonstrated interest in technology’s impact on society, AI, and journalism.
- Proficiency in English plus one or more relevant languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, Bahasa Indonesia, or French.
- Experience with grant administration or payment processing in a mission-driven environment.
- Familiarity with training coordination and virtual event logistics.
- Experience producing newsletters and managing online communities.
- Knowledge of website analytics tools and accessibility best practices.
- Strong ability to develop, maintain, and improve agile workflows.
- Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity when working with global partners.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the production of a bi-weekly AI newsletter, including sourcing content and tracking performance metrics.
- Support the delivery of AI-focused training programs by coordinating coaches, contractors, and technical logistics.
- Manage training applications, curriculum production, and participant communication.
- Organize in-person and virtual training events, managing travel, technical support, and promotion.
- Maintain AI program websites and work with external developers to update content, analytics, and accessibility.
- Build and maintain dashboards to track website performance and program impact.
- Manage the AI community listserv and platform administration.
- Process grant paperwork, track deliverables, and administer payments to partners and fellows.
