Requirements
- Accredited bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifying education.
- Professional experience with Gospel Rescue Missions, Salvation Army, Adult & Teen Challenge, YWAM, or comparable Christian ministries.
- Strong personal commitment to a Christian mission and values centered on serving vulnerable populations.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Technical proficiency with CRM databases, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Zoom.
- Ability to initiate cold outreach and manage persistent, thoughtful follow-up.
- Self-direction, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Spiritual maturity and commitment to support the spiritual needs of partners and students.
Responsibilities
- Initiate conversations with leaders of rescue missions and other Christian ministries serving people affected by poverty, homelessness, and addiction.
- Develop prospective partnerships through consistent, professional follow-up and nurturing.
- Strengthen existing ministry partnerships through regular communication and strategic engagement to increase student referrals.
- Partner with academic leadership to identify and develop creative educational and training solutions for ministry partners and their students.
- Represent the organization at relevant conferences and industry events, arranging meetings to develop new opportunities.
- Participate in regular staff and supervision meetings, including an annual in-person gathering.
- Lead staff chapel and prayer sessions via Zoom, providing spiritual leadership.
