Requirements
- Experience debugging modern web applications (software engineering or technical support background).
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with web application frameworks such as React, Node, Flask, or Next.js.
- 2–5 years of experience supporting customers using modern SaaS and web applications.
- Practical familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, generative models, or prompt engineering.
- Understanding of common AI failure modes, hallucinations, and model behavior.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
- Clear communication skills in English.
- Availability for a 6-day-per-week schedule with Pacific Time (PT/PST) overlap.
- Knowledge of AI APIs (OpenAI/Anthropic) or agent frameworks (LangChain/AutoGPT) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Investigate user-reported technical issues end-to-end by reproducing bugs and identifying root causes.
- Debug across modern AI and SaaS environments using telemetry, application logs, network inspection, and database queries.
- Triage issues with sound technical judgment, escalating genuine engineering defects while resolving others through configuration or user guidance.
- Work closely with Engineering to communicate reproducible issues and provide technical context for bug resolution.
- Identify recurring problems and systemic patterns to surface product risks to leadership.
- Create clear documentation, troubleshooting resources, and runbooks.
- Communicate with users in a professional, empathetic manner while ensuring responses remain accurate.
