Requirements
- Experience building or owning foundational systems like ingestion frameworks or lakehouse foundations.
- Background in metadata, governance, catalog platforms, or multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure.
- Proven experience with search, storage, or distributed serving layers.
- Deep technical credibility in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience operating high-availability platforms with strict SLOs.
- Proven track record of scaling engineering teams, including managing managers.
- Strong systems thinking capabilities with a builder mindset and high agency.
- Ability to bridge technical decisions with product strategy and organizational design.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and interest in agentic systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve an AI-ready context store across structured, unstructured, vector, and graph systems.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of high-scale ingestion and validation frameworks.
- Oversee contract-driven routing, storage, and serving layers.
- Implement multi-tenant isolation and noisy-neighbor resilience strategies.
- Maintain high-availability search APIs with sub-second P95 response times.
- Define engineering metrics, on-call practices, SLO discipline, and incident management processes.
- Mentor and scale high-performing engineering teams, including managing managers.
