Requirements
- 5+ years of alternative data experience, including evaluating, sourcing, and working with multiple datasets.
- Proven track record of developing new alt-data research or feed products with measurable impact.
- Client-facing or buy-side exposure and a strong understanding of financial client needs.
- Customer-centric product mindset using data and feedback to guide high-impact decisions.
- Demonstrated track record of product innovation, identifying opportunities, prioritizing effectively, and executing quickly.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and influence/motivate others to deliver on shared product goals.
- Understanding of the underlying technology of data collection, storage, delivery, and consumption.
- Ability to operate with transparency, communicate progress clearly, and stay aligned with company objectives.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by building new alternative data products spanning entire sectors or financial verticals.
- Explore and evaluate new datasets for potential commercialization.
- Work closely with the Partnerships team to direct the sourcing of new datasets and build relationships with prospective partners.
- Understand user workflows, problems, and needs through client interviews and collaboration with the Revenue team.
- Drive product strategy that creates value on top of YipitData's data and research.
- Communicate progress and roadmaps upward and outward.
- Manage or build out a team of Product Development Analysts.
