Requirements
- JD or equivalent law degree.
- 2+ years of experience in private practice, in-house legal work, legal research, regulatory, compliance, or a related legal environment.
- 2+ years of experience leading complex projects, operational workflows, or multidisciplinary programs.
- Strong understanding of legal research, contract analysis, litigation, or regulatory processes.
- Experience with AI/ML companies, AI research, or data annotation/evaluation (preferred).
- Experience managing legal, technical, or data-intensive projects (advantageous).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to interpret complex information and make sound decisions in ambiguous situations.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving technical environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work across functions and geographies.
Responsibilities
- Lead legal AI pilots and research initiatives from initial scoping through validation and operationalization.
- Translate emerging legal AI use cases into structured projects for model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Shape strategies for sourcing and structuring case law, contracts, and regulatory data for AI applications.
- Apply legal judgment regarding privilege, confidentiality, and jurisdictional requirements.
- Develop workflows, quality standards, and operational blueprints to scale pilot projects.
- Collaborate across functions with attorneys, researchers, customers, and global delivery teams.
- Define project success criteria, assess feasibility, and manage stakeholder expectations.
