Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience providing service-oriented support to fundraising or data-driven teams.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform.
- Demonstrated experience with gift entry and data reconciliation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under frequent interruption.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent and competing requests with effective prioritization.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform self-directed work while remaining responsive to team needs.
- Available for increased hours (up to 29 hours per week) during December and early January to support year-end fundraising.
- Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising operations and donor management is preferred.
- Experience with third-party fundraising platforms and Apsona is preferred.
- Experience in an internal operations support position managing shared inboxes or ticketing queues is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for gift data inquiries from Development, Finance, and program teams.
- Triage and prioritize competing internal requests, communicating realistic timelines and proactively flagging delays.
- Enter donor gifts (checks, ACH, non-cash) into Salesforce on a weekly basis and process third-party fundraiser gifts monthly.
- Process gift acknowledgments electronically and via postal mail, including high-volume year-end periods.
- Support bulk data imports, data reconciliation between Salesforce and financial systems, and generate standard reports.
- Identify recurring data pain points and develop lightweight processes to reduce repetitive requests.
