Requirements
- 5+ years of PR, communications, or marketing experience in an agency environment.
- Experience working with cybersecurity clients.
- Deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, including threat intelligence, incident response, and cloud security.
- Established relationships with business, technology, and cybersecurity trade media and analysts.
- Proven ability to develop and lead communications strategies driving visibility and credibility.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, particularly for technical or data-driven content.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts, budgets, and teams simultaneously.
- Track record of mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Ability to remain calm and confident under pressure during complex or crisis situations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead proactive media and analyst relations programs for cybersecurity clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with key cybersecurity, technology, and business journalists and industry analysts.
- Serve as the day-to-day client lead, managing strategic communications programs from planning to results.
- Draft and edit cybersecurity-focused communications materials including press releases and bylined articles.
- Manage direct reports, establish goals, and provide performance feedback.
- Provide strategic counsel on communications challenges, product launches, and incident response.
