Requirements
- 8+ years of professional backend engineering experience with Java/J2EE and related JVM technologies.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Spring ecosystem: Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Integration.
- Proven experience designing technical solutions from business requirements, including architectural decision-making.
- Solid track record in building and maintaining microservices and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of HTTP protocols and designing/consuming REST APIs.
- Experience implementing web application security best practices (secure coding, authN/authZ, OWASP awareness).
- Strong SQL and RDBMS skills with Oracle/MySQL (or equivalent).
- Proficiency with Git, modern IDEs, and collaborative development workflows.
- Working knowledge of Linux environments.
- Experience working in Agile teams with shared ownership and iterative delivery.
Responsibilities
- Work in close coordination with business users and stakeholders to craft solutions based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements and design documents.
- Take a lead role in the design and implementation of new components and functionality.
- Provide timely status and project updates to stakeholders.
- Liaise with test teams to ensure solutions are fully tested, including creating automated test scripts.
- Design and develop robust, secure, and maintainable technical solutions following industry standards.
- Review and contribute to department technical standards and guidelines.
- Provide technical direction, leadership, and mentorship to junior team members.
