Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years in analytics engineering / data warehousing.
  • Deep production experience with Snowflake, including warehouse sizing, clustering, and incremental strategies.
  • Expert-level SQL and strong Python for transformation, tooling, and automation.
  • Deep expertise in dbt (macros, packages, performance patterns, project structuring).
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
  • Understanding of data modeling, including dimensional modeling and ELT pipeline design.
  • Experience with Data Ops (CI/CD, automated testing, version control).
  • Familiarity with ERP fundamentals, specifically NetSuite, and GL/sub-ledger complexity.
  • Understanding of core financial measures such as revenue, COGS, and depreciation.
  • Experience with governance practices, PII masking, and role-based access control.

Responsibilities

  • Design the long-term technical vision for Lime’s Corporate Data Warehouse to build a robust, scalable Finance-grade semantic layer.
  • Own the Finance data modeling strategy across core systems, including NetSuite and sub-ledgers.
  • Define and enforce standards for dbt modeling, SQL style, CI/CD workflows, documentation, and automated testing.
  • Build reconciliation-ready datasets that support month-end close and audits.
  • Enforce strict data governance and controls, including data ownership, glossary, and lineage.
  • Partner with Finance stakeholders to ensure analytics solutions support month-end close workflows and audit needs.
  • Evaluate and integrate orchestration & automation capabilities to reduce manual intervention and operational risk.
  • Mentor Analytics Engineers on the team through design review, code review, and pairing.
