- 9+ years of relevant product design, UX or product experience work.
- 3+ years managing product designers.
- Proven experience managing designers in complex B2B SaaS, platform, workflow-heavy or multi-product environments.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating product judgment, systems thinking, and high-quality execution.
- Exceptional visual and interaction design judgment.
- Strong management skills including performance development and coaching.
- Excellent communication skills for maintaining visibility across workstreams.
- Working knowledge of design systems, accessibility standards, and scalable product patterns.
- Experience with AI-native interfaces such as conversational AI, automation, or agentic workflows.
- Experience managing distributed teams and working across time zones, ideally with India-based teams.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted production tools.
Responsibilities
- Manage, coach and develop 8–12 product designers across US- and India-based teams.
- Lead design execution for AI-powered workflows spanning Product and Revenue lines.
- Connect customer needs, business goals, technical constraints and product strategy across cross-cutting AI workflow surfaces.
- Set expectations for quality, accountability, collaboration, communication and delivery.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and design leadership to shape roadmaps, clarify tradeoffs and improve outcomes.
- Lead critiques, coaching conversations, quality reviews and launch-readiness discussions.
- Maintain workstream visibility through rituals and risk escalation.
- Hire excellent talent and create clear development plans.
- Use AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate design processes without lowering quality.
